Sombat Tapanya

Sombat Tapanya started his aikido training in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, in 1980 and at the Thai Aikido Association in Bangkok in 1982 under Motohiro Fukakusa Shihan (8th dan) and Prapant Chittaputta Shihan (6th dan).

Sombat founded the Chiang Mai University Aikido Club in 1986 and Renshinkan Dojo in 2012. He currently holds the rank of 5th dan.

Teerarat Boripantakul

Teerarat Boripantakul started his aikido training at the Chiang Mai University Aikido Club in 1986.

He has trained under Motohiro Fukakusa Shihan (8th dan) and Prapant Chittaputta Shihan (6th dan). He currently holds the rank of 3rd dan.

Kop Narumol

Narumol (Kop) Thammapruksa started her aikido training at Chiang Mai University Aikido Club. In 2008, with a recommendation from Motohiro Fukakusa shihan (8th Dan) and Takao Hattori shihan (7th Dan), Kop enrolled at the Aikido Academy, Hombu dojo, Tokyo, where she received 2nd kyu under instruction by Koichi Toriumi shihan (8th Dan) and Yoshiaki Yokota shihan (8th Dan).

In 2012, as an exchange student at Osaka University, Kop practiced regularly at Shosenji Dojo, Toyonaka, under care of Katsuyuki Shimamoto shihan (8th Dan). She received her shodan from Hombu dojo under supervision of Tsuruzo Miyamoto shihan (8th Dan). Kop currently holds the rank of 2nd dan.
