Sumalee (Toom) Pratoomnun

Toom has joined Peace Culture Foundation as a Co-Project Director-Program and Operations. She is an accomplished Project Management and Communication Specialist with over 15 years of experience leading impactful initiatives across various sectors, including public health, environmental conservation, child protection, and road safety. She has a strong background in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication, successfully collaborating with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners.

Throughout Toom’s career, she has worked with organizations such as Plan International Thailand, AIP Foundation, Internews, and the National Health Security Office, where she has driven policy changes, developed communication strategies, and managed large-scale projects that promote public awareness and social impact.

Toom holds a master’s degree in health communication from Huachiew Chalermprakiet University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from Thammasat University. She has also completed the Essential Skills for Women Leadership in Global Health program at Johns Hopkins University.
